(WJW) – Mega Millions excitement is reaching new heights, according to lottery officials!
The Mega Millions jackpot continues to soar after no one matched all six numbers in Friday night’s drawing. The jackpot has been steadily growing since it was last won in early June.
Friday’s winning numbers were 10, 17, 20, 24, and 54, with the gold Mega Ball 8. While no one claimed the top prize, two lucky players matched the five white balls, earning the game’s second-tier prize of $1 million. One of these winning tickets was purchased in Florida, and the other in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin ticket is even more valuable, worth $4 million, thanks to the optional Megaplier!
The jackpot has now risen to an estimated $681 million, with a cash option of $336.1 million.
The next drawing is set for Tuesday, Sept. 3.
